JUSTFLIGHT – ROBIN DR400

На самом деле, шутка конечно. Тут на Simmarket прилетела модель от JustFlight – ROBIN DR400, французский учебно-тренировочный самолет, разработанный в 1972 году авиастроительной компанией «Avions Pierre Robin».
Разработка воздушного судна Robin DR400 велась французскими инженерами и дизайнерами с 1968 года, при этом, в качестве базы для начала разработок послужила модель Robin DR200, ставшая выпускаться с 1964 года. Фактически, французские авиастроители изначально предполагали лишь частично усовершенствовать конструкцию летательного аппарата и установить новый двигатель, однако, на окончательной стадии было принято решение о полной переработке имеющейся модели с целью повышения лётно-технических характеристик и снижением стоимости производства.

Модель легкого многоцелевого самолёта Robin DR400 стала весьма популярной, о чём говорит тот факт, что за период выпуска было построено более 1300 самолётов, включая как прототипы, так и модифицированные версии, при этом, несмотря на более чем 40-летнюю историю самолёта, модель активно продолжает эксплуатироваться и по сегодняшний день – по данным на 2014 год в эксплуатации находилось более 1100 самолётов данной модели.

Французским авиастроителям удалось в значительной мере снизить стоимость воздушного судна благодаря использованию деревянных частей и деталей, что в свою очередь практически не повлияло на безопасность совершаемых полётов.

• Custom-coded electrical system with functional circuit breakers. Circuit breaker logic is linked to X-Plane’s internal failure logic, so if the plane is set to fail a certain electrical component after a certain number of hours, the circuit breaker for that element will pop out
• Functioning carburettor and auxiliary fuel tank transfer controls
• Dedicated interactive engine pop-up window displaying values such as fuel tank weights and imbalance, fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temperature, battery charge (with quick charge option), and information about spark plug fouling and vapour lock condition
• Simulated vapour lock condition, with warning pop-up and suggested actions
• Simulated spark plug fouling condition, with indication of percentage of fouling
• Custom external light logic with custom strobe light pattern and custom light halos for added realism
